Are you experiencing blurred vision? Perhaps you’ve noticed it at home, at work, or driving in the car. According to AllAboutVision.com, “blurry vision is the loss of sharpness of eyesight, making objects appear out of focus and hazy.” There are many causes of blurred vision, including nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. Did you know that dry eye disease can also cause blurred vision? It’s true, chronic “dry eye syndrome can affect your eyes in numerous ways, including blurred and fluctuating eye.”  Blurred vision can be due to many factors, but if it is from dry eye disease, it could be caused by the tears in your eye evaporating too easily or your tears not having the right balance of oil or mucus. If any of these three factors aren’t correctly balanced, your tears may not hydrate your eye enough, which could lead to blurred vision.
